Always a great experience dining here. The new management has really kept the quality service and food beyond expectations. A piece of advice for anyone trying here for the first time, the “dining” area is outside so if you plan to eat here on the colder days, I would recommend taking it home or eating in your vehicle. The food is always fresh and hot when you pick it up and prices are very reasonable for good BBQ. The sandwich is a good size for the price. A BBQ sandwich, order of fries, and a drink will run you about $8-9 tax included. Highly recommend this place if you have never tried it before and like BBQ. They also have other items like burgers and subs but the BBQ is what you want to go here for.

I go to Mikes every time I am in Mtn City.... l plan my trips there around Mike's Business Hour's....... I strongly recommend the dinner tray.....I ordered something else once, and it was good too......Once....

The only place in mtn city for great food. Poor boy sub is so tasty. Mouth watering fresh deli meats, loaded with shoe string seasoned onions in their famous secret sauce and spices. Love this sun. I add extra onions. The BBQ is the best anywhere in NC and Tn. You will not find a more rich smoother sauce with a smoky flavor loved by the young kids and us younger folks. You must get 1 lb of cold sliced BBQ and a Pint of sauce to take home for lunch or dinner tomorrow. I can't find a more loved restaurant, where everything is exceptionally clean and the best BBQ you will ever find. Don't believe me, try it for yourself.
